JP Morgan Chase Data Center
Binsky & Snyder was called upon to provide the mechanical cooling system components of the new mission critical data center for this financial institution.
The main challenge of the project was the ambitious schedule required by the client. The facility consists of 140,000 sq ft of white space (computer room space). Binsky managers coordinated tight schedules and timeframes with the other disciplines, managing over 600 workers within that space. Binsky’s 50+ workers worked both day and night shifts to get the project completed on time. The mechanical scope included installation of 250 CRAC units and 34,000 ft of piping throughout the facility, adhering to strict quality control procedures.
Data Centers require precision work to reliably control temperatures, humidity and airflow. Binsky & Snyder’s extensive data center experience met JP Morgan’s high standards of data protection.
