New Brunswick’s Wellness Plaza

Binsky & Snyder was part of the 620,000 sq. ft. Wellness Plaza construction in the heart of New Brunswick, NJ, once a former industrial hub. This $105 million structure revitalized the downtown and created an enormous convenience space for commuters. It was Binsky & Snyder’s task to ensure every square foot of this space remains comfortable and properly conditioned.

Having to appease three different end-users – the New Brunswick Parking Authority, Fresh Grocer and the RWJ Fitness & Wellness Center – Binsky & Snyder participated in extensive coordination and site planning to finish the project on time; installing boilers, air handling units, heat pumps, centrifugal pumps, cooling towers, fans, and variable frequency drives across the nine-story structure.

The Wellness Plaza required the proper conditioning for a 49,000 sq. ft. supermarket, a 62,000 sq. ft. fitness and rehabilitation center.
